Rural Development Disclosure

In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) civil rights regulations and policies, the USDA, its Agencies, offices, employees, and institutions participating in or administering USDA programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity (including gender expression), sexual orientation, disability, age, marital status, family/parental status, income derived from a public assistance program, political beliefs, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity, in any program or activity conducted or funded by USDA (not all bases apply to all programs). Remedies and complaint filing deadlines vary by program or incident.

Complaints of discrimination should be sent to USDA, Director, Office of the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights, 1400 Independence Ave SW, Washington, DC   20250-9410.  
 

CDFI Fund Disclosure

In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U.S. Department of Treasury civil rights regulations and policies, the CDFI Fund, its Agencies, offices, employees, and institutions participating in or administering CDFI Fund programs are prohibited from discriminating based on race, color, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity (including gender expression), sexual orientation, disability, age, marital status, family/parental status, income derived from a public assistance program, political beliefs, or reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity, in any program or activity conducted or funded by the Department of Treasury. Remedies and complaint filing deadlines vary by program or incident.

Complaints of discrimination for a CDFI Funded Program should be sent to Department of the Treasury, Director, Office of Civil Rights and EEO, 1500 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Washington, DC   20220.

A Half-Century of Serving South Dakotans

For more than half a century, the three nonprofit organizations comprising GROW South Dakota have fulfilled a vision of “GROWing sustainable communities through housing, community and economic development.” In 1966 the Northeast South Dakota Community Action Program (NESDCAP) was established as a Community Action Agency in the War on Poverty and has served thousands in 17 counties with emergency services as well as various housing programs.
